JESUS IS THE WAY

Image
I will start off with what I wore to church today and close with a little message that the Lord placed on my heart after hearing one of my new favorite songs. I hope you are blessed... Dress and trench by Calvin Klein   My daughter really loves a good "arm party"! lol She has been making bracelet after bracelet. This is one she made for me out of beads we bought from a local vendor that was selling at the fair. She also made me an awesome necklace. I can't wait to wear it!!  Have you ever been lost and could not find your way? Perhaps you knew where you wanted to go but not how to get there. Often life can lead us down some winding roads and we find ourselves lost. We don't know how we end up there and we don't know how to find our way out. Most times we turn down these roads following other people or things? There are so many voices out there claiming to tell us the truth. They lie to us and say that by taking this route we will end up at destination "Ha

Today I threw on my favorite leopard coat dress (you've seen it several times lol) with boyfriend jeans.  I dropped my daughter off at ballet and took a quick trip to Goodwill. Scored (2) dresses and a sweater for $18 total.  YAY ME!!! lol  Hope everyone is having a great weekend. I'm really enjoying the cooler weather here in Dallas! With Love, Kiah

"SASSY" VINTAGE JUMPSUIT

Image
When I saw this jumpsuit....I DIED!!! Like most fashion lovers I adore "Old Hollywood" glamour. Some of my favorite items have  sequins and I go crazy for fur stoles, large hats, vintage accessories, classic pumps and bold lipstick!  Do you also like to "GLAM" up? With Love, Kiah

MISSONI MOMMA

Image
Everyone has heard about the Missoni for Target craze, right! Well I was a part of it and this is what I brought home. First let me tell you that I love hats! I own about 30 of them so I had to have the Missoni floppy hat to add to my collection. The matching infinity scarf was just hanging there all alone so I felt it incumbent upon me to give it a home too! lol I'm glad I did because it is very warm and comfy. I think a wide leg pant is the perfect compliment to a floppy hat so I decided to pair it with my ASOS wide leg pants and a lace top from Macy's. Did you get anything from the collection?  With Love, Kiah

MAN UP AND MIX IT UP

Image
I love mixing prints! I think it really makes an outfit very interesting to look at.  Styling can truly be an art form and you can have tons of fun with it! Don't be afraid to step outside the box and try something new but never wear anything that makes you feel uncomfortable. Confidence is necessary when stepping outside the box because those that are afraid to step outside the box with fashion will look at you like you are insane! Fashion is most def not for the faint of heart. What are you afraid of? Go ahead...MAN UP and MIX IT UP! lol I urge you to check out how this fabulous woman has fun with fashion! Her name is Sacramento and you can find her blog here MIS PAPELICOS . I adore Sacramento's style and she is one of my favorite bloggers. It is not just her style that captivates me but also her HUGE heart. You will not meet another  blogger that shows other bloggers love like Sacramento. I know in my heart that she really cares.  If you are not following her, you m

THINK PINK

Image
October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month In honor of those we've lost to breast cancer, those who've survived breast cancer and those who are currently fighting against breast cancer, I support you with my donations for the cure. Today I thought pink and decided to wear this for you. Ladies I urge you to save your Ta-Tas by knowing the facts about breast cancer! *The following information was taken from the SUSAN G. KOMEN  website* Except for skin cancers, breast cancer is the most common cancer in women, but it can be successfully treated. Screening tests can find cancer early, when it’s most treatable. Susan G. Komen for the Cure® recommends that you: 1. Know your risk •Talk to your family to learn about your family health history •Talk to your provider about your personal risk of breast cancer 2. Get screened •Ask your doctor which screening tests are right for you if you are at a higher risk •Have a mammogram every year starting at a

BLACK WITH A POP OF BLUSH

Image
Hey Y'all!!!! I'm back. I had such a good time at the wedding with family and friends. It was a lot of work as the bride decided to do everything on her own but it was all worth it because it turned out great!! I have decided not to post pictures of the wedding. My brother is in the military so many of the pictures include military personnel and I did not get permission to put their pics on my blog. I also have a brother that is in politics and I did not want to include pictures of him on my blog either. I hope you understand that some things are just personal. Anywho, I did manage to sneak in a picture of my wedding outfit. I was running so late and ended up wearing something totally different than I had planned. The picture is not the best because I had no time to pose and such (basically my hubby just snapped) but it shows the outfit well. It was very windy so my blazer was flying all over the place. lol I have tons of new things that I can't wait to show y'all!! Sty

LONG LINES

Image
Does this dress look familiar? Yep, I've worn it before! I decided to wear it to church on Sunday. The last time I wore this dress the pictures came out blurred and the lighting was bad so I decided to take some pics of it outside. I love the long black lines against this beautiful blue vintage dress so so much!  Hope you like it too!  p.s. the lace slip underneath is showing on purpose! lol I will not be posting for the next few days because I am leaving for Georgia in the morning. My brother is getting married this weekend and my hubby is the wedding officiant/minister! This wedding is extra special because it is a wonderful story of overcoming tragedy. It proves that God can soften your heart to love again after something awful breaks your heart. My brother was married before and his wife died (in his arms) of cancer at the age of 27. Five years later...he has found love again! He and his previous wife had 2 children. This God sent wife-to-be has taken care of my niece and
