BAR CART DECORATING

Hey Dolls,
I decided to add a taste of Old Hollywood to my new apartment decor with a bar cart. I feel like I'm seeing this little entertainment essential everywhere. Seriously, we should deem this "The Year of the Bar Cart"! Bar carts are a great way to store your drinks (doesn't have to be alcohol) while also showcasing your style and personality.
My Bar Cart is from Target.
I love to display cute tea towels on my cart that can easily be switched out to change the look of my cart. Home Goods, Marshalls, and Paper Source have great options!
Personalize your cart by adding initial decor. I got this gold letter "T" from Hobby Lobby.
Find a great background for your cart. I used a pop of color on a wall but floor mirrors, large pieces of art, or wallpaper serve as great backdrops too.
Food and drink books are perfect accents for your cart because where there are drinks...well...there's always food. When entertaining have fruits for drinks out for guests (limes, cherries, etc.). It's no secret that I'm obsessed with all things pineapple. I found this pineapple wine decanter at Pier 1 and the gold pineapple is from Joss & Main.
I love fancy straws and unique cups/glasses. These Moscow mule mugs are awesome and I picked up the pink dotted paper straws from Target.
I'm sure you all are wondering....hey, where's the booze! lol My husband doesn't drink AT ALL, and I rarely do. Occasionally, I will indulge in a glass of wine and have selected a few that I will add to my cart come Fall. I'm partial to reds (merlots, malbecs, shiraz).

xoxo
