SIBERIAN SPRING
To blog or not to blog...
To be honest, I just haven't been in the mood to blog as much lately. I guess I'm having my 1st blogger's slump. I've been blogging nonstop for over 2 years now (posting 2 maybe 3 times per week) and I think it all just caught up with me. Taking photos...editing photos...uploading photos...answering questions...reading comments...commenting on other blogs...WHEW!! It can really drain ya!
I've also been wrestling with the guilt of neglecting God and family due to the time it takes to truly be a good blogger. I don't want to become that mom/wife that spends more time blogging than with the people that mean the most to me. After all, this is only a hobby.
So, I've decided to only allow myself a certain amount of time each day to do "blog things". This could seriously become a full-time job if you let it and I already have a full-time job! lol I've also decided to make blogging less of an obligation. I don't know why I've carried that burden anyway.
Any who, I'm so excited for Spring fashion! There is only one problem, it's 30 degrees outside! I don't know what happened. We had a week of warm 70s and now this. Yo Dallas! Imma need you to do better!

Oh well.
Guess I can break out the purple tights tomorrow, (but watch it be hot)!
I feel you on blogger being just a hobby. That's why my following is low. I am grateful for the nice comments and the on-lookers of my spectacle, but this is a hobby and an outlet for self-confidence and empowerment for me.
I might want it to be more, but for what I'm taking on day-to-day at the moment, its not a possibility.
Khia you look fabulous...Love the Spring/Winter fusion!
If blogging isn't fun anymore it's definitely time to re-think, well done.

I put away all of my winter/fall clothes so I'm just braving the temps.
As far as blogging, I have those slumps too. I get bored with myself. I"m seriously considering shutting down my blog. Right now though, I just don't put any pressure on myself anymore. If I have something to say, I will. If I don't, then no post. I've gone weeks and not taken a single picture. And life still went on:)
Funny enough, I also went through a 'I-don't-really-feel-like-blogging' phase. Didn't even feel like attending events. It lasted for about a week. lolol. Now, I'm excited again. Really, a break is needed from time to time. So I completely understand.
I can totally understand what you mean in regards to blogging. I took a two week break myself recently and loved it. I think that if it's a hobby to you and not something you want to do full time, then you should do it at your leisure. :)
It's OK to take a blog break. Put a few posts on auto schedule and enjoy your family. Faithful readers will be here.
I love this outfit - you're working the double denim trend very well! I like the 60's boho vibe it has with the floppy hat and fur vest.
I'm still trying to figure out what trends I want to do for Spring/Summer 2013. I did the black and white and nautical trends all winter long - time for a change! You are always an inspiration to me. Whatever you decide to do, just make sure it is the right thing for you and feels comfortable. You can't live your life for other people.
LOVE.
:)
