CURVES GONE GRAPHIC

Hey Dolls,
This is a pretty exciting post because it's the 1st time I've ever participated in something like this. All props go to Bella Styles because it was her idea. I'll let her tell you how she came up with it.

Written by Bella Styles:
Earlier this month I posted on the new trend of “Contrasting, Monochrome Mod Black & White Prints”. In that post I featured an ASOS CURVE Body-Conscious Dress In Geo Mono Print, ($52.62). Something about this dress just struck me from first glance. Then within no time I started seeing other curvy bloggers swooning over this dress as well. Blogger Alissa of StylishCurves even found a pic with athlete Serena Williams in a similar geometric dress. But when I went over to facebook and read the comments under another blogger who posted a pic of the dress on her page, I was a little disgusted. For some reason people think that a curvy or plus-size woman can’t wear stripes, graphic prints, etc. So with that said, I contacted fellow fashionistas Marie Denee of The Curvy Fashionista, Cassandra of Curvaceous Boutique and Nekiah of From the Rez to the City all whom had posted that they also purchased this dress from Asos. We decided to do a "Show & Style" so to speak to inform our loyal followers that for one, YES, a plus-size woman can wear prints and be trendy, and also the various different ways to wear this geo-print dress. In no way is this a competition between us bloggers, we are just offering style advice to our readers. (The pics from each of us will be on our own blogs and facebook pages and then I will update this post with a collage of all of us at a later date)...**Ends Bella Styles**

Here's how I rocked the dress!

 Dress, Belt and Clutch: Asos
Earrings: Lane Bryant
Shoes: Thrifted

Be sure to check out the looks on each blog listed above and remember to go back to Bella Styles blog to see the updated collage with all of our looks!
With Love,
Kiah

Ok! You know what? You look absolutely AMAZING! I love love love how you embrace your curves and flaunt them while remaining elegant and classy. That's not always an easy line to negotiate. Often the media takes curves and sexualizes them. And there's more to a curvy woman than her sex appeal!!! But you have it all in spades girly! Hugs and high fives to you on this gorgeous look! (BTW, I know I may be gushing at this point, but truly,ASOS needs to just retire this dress right now....I can't imagine anyone even touching how great you wear and styled this!) Serene
Um excuse me miss! You look amazing in this frock! I really love the colors, well the two colors and the pattern. It's very flattering on your for sure!
