QUEEN OF DISCO

I'm a 70's baby so it's only natural that I'm a lover of disco. I don't think it's so much the songs as it is the style of that era!! Glamour, glitter, sequins, platforms, big hair, lots of makeup = YEAH BABY!! I'm sure you can tell by many of my outfits that I speak the truth of said love! lol Today I heard the sad news that Donna Summer passed away. :-( I decided to throw on one of my disco dresses to pay homage to the QUEEN OF DISCO.

Your dress is beyond amazing! I grew up on a lot of 70s and 80s music, and I clearly remember Donna Summer playing in the house when I was little. She was a legend and her music and fabulous style will live on through each of us, especially you :)

Second, how sad is the news about Donna Summer? The ending of the movie Thank God It's Friday (I'm a 70s baby, too) when she finally gets a chance to sing at the disco and sings Last Dance, oh.my.goodness. RIP :-(

I grew up in the 60's and 70's, and I loved Donna Summer! I'm so sorry she passed. She had a career later in her life as a gospel singer.
