HOW I LAYER A DRESS

I purchased this dress a while back and fell in love with its metallic color. I believe that metallic items can be used year round and therefore are excellent investment pieces. This dress is too large in the chest area (sides and back) but I don't mind because I would NEVER wear it on its own. It is a rare act of total fashion ambition for me to show my arms (previous post was one of those rare acts). In an effort to show you how I layered a dress, I decided to show my arms once again. I hope you realize how much I love you! lol

Step #1 - Put on your fave dress
Step #2 - Add a shirt over it. You can leave it opened...
OR closed
Step #3 - Add a jacket or blazer over shirt.
Dress: Asos Curve
White Blouse: I.N.C. (Macy's)
Cropped Tuxedo Jacket: Lane Bryant
Shoes: Jeffrey Campbell
Purse: Chanel
Sunnies: Armani Exchange (my new faves)
Jewelry: David Yurman

A dress can easily be used as a skirt by layering over top of it. You can even tie a shirt at the waist or belt a shirt or jacket over it. Versatility at its finest!!
With Love,
Kiah

I love the layered look. Have you ever thought of putting a blouse underneath the dress? Something sheer with long sleeves? I think it would work as layering too.
I love the dress.
Gorgeous dress. Excellent tutorial!

I love this dress, but it's too cute to be all covered up!!
A cute lil blazer would work, especially for an evening event.

You look fabulous! Such a beatiful dress though I have to admit I think it looks far better if you leave the blouse open as it looks just a bit more casual and less confined. And I think there's nothing wrong with your arms! But thanks for demonstrating your devotion to us readers anyway :9 ♥
