WE LOVE WOOL - "FASHION BY FEELINGS" CAMPAIGN

Molly from Fashion By Feelings invited me to join in Woolmark's effort to encourage the use of wool in fashion. I don't know about you, but I love me a nice wool sweater, scarf or fabulous hat! My involvement in this effort will be to style an outfit using wool and post it onto the website. Below is more info on the campaign.

Woolmark is knitting its way into Facebook's pages launching a global street style competition with a difference. Recently launched, Woolmark's 'Find Fashion by Feelings' lookbook invites users to post their favorite wool looks into one of twelve 'Feelings' categories. Users are then encouraged to vote for the outfits they love the most, with the most 'loved' look winning a AUD $12,000 holiday and wool experience. Additionally, the public can vote for their favorite look, with all voters entered into a weekly draw to win an 'Emu Australia' wool prize pack worth AUD $400.

When viewing the site, viewers are greeted with a Myriad of different looks: From 'Happy' - an explosion of vibrant color; to 'Dark' - a moodier, deeper sultry side to all things wool, to emotions in between.

Woolmark launched the "We Love Wool" Facebook in early June. Since its inception the community now has over 24,000 fans. The thriving community provides consumers, retailers and designers alike a touch-point to connect and discuss all things wool.

Woolmark is synonymous with great design; their 47 year old logo was, this year, awarded "Top logo of all time" by Creative Review Magazine, and with this campaign they're hoping to draw another success in their history....
