TEAL AND YELLOW
I had an awesome Sunday! My neighbor and friend preached his 1st sermon today so we all went to his church to support him. The purpose of the message was knowing that to be free in Christ means serving one another. What a great message and also very convicting. It is so easy to get caught up in "self" and forget or not care about the needs of others. It is my prayer that I am mindful of this message in times when I desire to do only what is pleasing to me. It was also very encouraging to know that the school that he and my hubby attend is doing a great job in equipping their students to do the work of the Lord! Part of their curriculum includes preaching classes. On another note, this is what I wore to church today. This skirt began as a formal dress. The top portion had this ugly sequined design so I cut it off and turned the bottom portion into a maxi skirt. The dress was only $5.99 at a local antique store. I paired it with a blazer in the same color, a yellow silk blouse and leopard print kitten heels. The color of the blazer and skirt is actually more teal green but it comes out turquoise in the pictures. :-(
With love,

So going crazy over your outfit! the colors are shamazing!!!!!! Teal seriously is one of my favorite colors so when ever you wear it ,or anyone wears it I smile(it makes me mighty glad you wear it with frequency=)
p.s. The pop of leopard takes it to another level of coolness!!!
I love the teal with yellow! Cute cute, you knew I was gonna like it after my turquoise and yellow.
You would add the CERTIFIED Chic button the same way you added the IFB buton to your blog. if that helps at all. LOL.

By the way, that's a great outfit combination! I love the maxi skirt, you're lucky to have found such a nice item. I rework some of my clothes, too. I once turned a maxi dress into a maxi skirt and I loved it. :) You look great!

You belong to the Protestant church?
I am Catholic, but I always liked the sermon in Protestant churches (never heard the true, but I saw in the movies. Are directed to the people and their hearts).
In my country some priests (this is a really small percentage)recently began to comment on political events, and the faithful do not like it.
I think it's awesome that your church has a preaching class for the young ones. That brought a smile to my face.

I adore u Kiah! Wish we lived in the same state :)
I love teal, one of my fave colors ( and all shades of blue!)
cool you found a blazer to match perfectly! Looks great! I like the message you got at church, it's definitely true even though sometimes we can't see it, but we do get more out of giving! :)
Take care!

Leopard print should always be added to teal.
Glad you had a good weekend!
