Earlier this month I posted on the new trend of “Contrasting, Monochrome Mod Black & White Prints”. In that post I featured an ASOS CURVE Body-Conscious Dress In Geo Mono Print, ($52.62). Something about this dress just struck me from first glance. Then within no time I started seeing other curvy bloggers swooning over this dress as well. Blogger Alissa of StylishCurves even found a pic with athlete Serena Williams in a similar geometric dress. But when I went over to facebook and read the comments under another blogger who posted a pic of the dress on her page, I was a little disgusted. For some reason people think that a curvy or plus-size woman can’t wear stripes, graphic prints, etc. So with that said, I contacted fellow fashionistas Marie Denee of The Curvy Fashionista, Cassandra of Curvaceous Boutique and Nekiah of From the Rez to the City all whom had posted that they also purchased this dress from Asos. We decided to do a "Show & Style" so to speak to inform our loyal followers that for one, YES, a plus-size woman can wear prints and be trendy, and also the various different ways to wear this geo-print dress. In no way is this a competition between us bloggers, we are just offering style advice to our readers.
