COPPER SWIRLS

Hey Dolls,
Today my husband preached a sermon titled "MY FATHER'S HOUSE". The sermon began with my husband talking about the time he reached adulthood and left home. He explained how he felt sad and afraid because he had been totally dependent on his father to provide for him. He then went on to talk about how the disciples must have felt after leaving all of their occupations, familiar surroundings and security to follow Jesus. How after their commitment to Him, He tells them at the Last Supper that He had to leave them.

Was He abandoning them? Was He going to forget about them? Would they be separated forever? NO! Jesus assured them that He was going to prepare a place for them so that where He was they would be also. Jesus will return to receive His children and although He has left us physically, He has not abandoned us or forgot about us. Upon His departure He left us the "Comforter" (Holy Spirit). He left us His word to encourage us and guide us and we know He's thinking of us because the sole purpose of His departure was to go and prepare a place for us! What a word of encouragement!

This is what I wore to church...
Although it was cold today, the sun was beaming like crazy. I could not look directly into the camera because the sun was right behind it!

You look gorgeous! Sounds like you'd be good (and look good) at the pulpit to ;)
I love the outfit, Kiah. And the sermon sounds like a good one. I am going through something similar as I prepare to leave my parents house and get married. It's scary but its time :-)
