DIPPED HEM

This is a halter style dress but I would never wear it on its own because I am not comfortable showing that much skin. Funny thing about my previous statement is that now I will never have to consider wearing it on its own since I burned a part of the top while ironing it today!! Can you believe it??!! I've had this dress for almost a year and the 1st time I decide to wear it, I burn it!! smh I may just cut the top portion off, add some elastic and make it a skirt. I guess it really doesn't matter since I would always wear something over it anyway! Have you ever ruined anything with the iron?

 Dress: Asos Curve
Jacket: Lane Bryant
Earrings and Bracelet: Vintage
Sunnies: Jessica Simpson
Shoes: Nine West
Watch: Michael Kors

I love the length and the huge pockets!
With Love,
Kiah

I love the outfit. That dress is beautiful. Personally, I wouldn't feel comfortable showing that much skin, either.

Re: Ironing ... when I was a teenager, I found my grandfather's old tuxedo dress shirts in a closet, so I used to wear them. I left the iron on one of them a little too long, and alas, burnt a hole in it! My mom tried to repair it, but it was a lost cause. I was very unhappy about that, because I usually took good care of my clothes. I think I was trying to iron in the kitchen and watch TV in the living room at the same time. Bad combo!

The band at the bottom makes for amazing colorblocking. Too bad you burnt it, but I think it doesn't matter since you plan to wear a jacket over it. I don't iron, so I have never ruined anything!!!

Being the maxi dress fan that I am, I think it is safe to say you did this halter dress well. Sorry that you burned it. Can I get a peek at those green shoes? :)
