STRIPES FOR SPRING

I will be rocking a lot of stripes for spring! I only wish that someone would design more vertical (slimming) striped items for us plus-ies! I am super excited to present my very 1st Old Navy purchase. I have been to O.N. before but was not impressed. I also try and stay away from franchises because you end up seeing yourself every where you go! lol Well, the other day my hubby and I were walking around the outlets when I spotted this cute little skirt in the O.N. window. I did what any other smart woman would do and ventured in. Consequently, I ended up at the right place at the right time because they were having an extra 50% off of clearance sale. I can't wait to show you all the things I walked out with! ;-)

Top: Ralph Lauren
Skirt: Old Navy
Trench Coat: Calvin Klein
Shoes: Target
Necklace: Vintage Anne Klein

With Love,
Kiah

I ALMOST BOUGHT THAT SKIRT.... and i most likely will go back and buy it. all the stripe stuff there is so fab!
Kiah, someone else might wear the same thing as you, but they will never have the grace to wear it as you do. There is something in your attitude and the way that you carry yourself that makes you very special. You can do print mixing so well, better than most anyone else.

These's even a maxi version of this skirt, I've been seeing it on other bloggers and wish I could have it! I've never seen the skirt version of it before on anyone but it's just as cute, I want this too now haha. I love how you paired the outfit with nude shoes and I think if you wear stripes the right way (like you) they don't have to have a broadening effect.

Ooooh man this is soooooo perfect, and vaguely reminiscent of pradas infamous stripes!!!!!! You are rocking those stripes Kiah! And the brights are so springy(which is always a good thing)

Btw it's so funny that you mentioned red lipstick because it's been something that I’ve been toying with and I know I can pull it off(granted it's the right shade). Also having "boy" hair certainly doesn't hurt =)

Looooove this. I saw this skirt but I put it back. It looks really good with the black and white striped top.

Well I think the horizontal stripes look just as amazing on you! I love how you put them on top and on bottom. I have a love-hate relationship with ON. I always see cute things other people are wearing from there, but the fit is always horrible on me!

Last week I was obsessed with stripes and yes, all of them horizontally. Now that I think of it, I never worn them any other way. Looking good as usual!
