OOTD, MY PHOTOGRAPHER, JEWELRY ARMOIRE AND THINGS FROM MY CLOSET

TODAY I TOOK MY DAUGHTER TO THE MOVIES TO SEE MONTE CARLO (WAIT FOR DVD). LOL THIS IS WHAT I WORE. IT IS REALLY HEATING UP HERE IN DALLAS!
ASOS STRIPED MIDI SKIRT
JEFFREY CAMPBELL WEDGES
THRIFTED BLOUSE
LANE BRYANT BELT
MY NEIGHBOR GAVE ME THIS FABULOUS ANTIQUE JEWELRY ARMOIRE. IT WAS JUST WHAT I NEEDED. THE DRAWERS STORE ALL OF MY RINGS AND EARRINGS AND THE SIDES OPEN UP TO STORE MY NECKLACES ON HOOKS. THE TOP EVEN OPENS UP AND HAS RING HOLDERS AND MORE STORAGE BUT I AM CURRENTLY  USING THE TOP TO PUT THINGS LIKE PERFUME (MY FAVES ARE CALVIN KLEIN ETERNITY, COCO CHANEL MADEMOISELLE, CHLOE AND J'ADORE BY DIOR) AND DECORATIVE ITEMS ON IT. I PLAN TO USE THE LARGER DRAWERS ON THE BOTTOM FOR ALL OF MY SILK SCARVES. THIS THING IS MASSIVE IT STANDS ABOUT 3.5FT HIGH AND IS ABOUT 25INCHES WIDE. I LOVE IT!!
THIS IS MY DAUGHTER AKA MY PHOTOGRAPHER MAKAYLA. SHE GOT THESE CONVERSE A FEW MONTHS AGO AND I HAVEN'T BEEN ABLE TO GET THEM OFF OF HER EVER SINCE!  LOL SHE AND HER BESTIES MADE THOSE NECKLACES OUT OF HANDKERCHIEFS. THEY ARE QUITE CREATIVE! ;-)
I HAVE DECIDED TO POST MORE OFTEN. I AM 35 AND I DON'T KNOW HOW MUCH LONGER I CAN KEEP UP WITH THE BLOGOSPHERE'S PACE. I HAVE BEEN GOING THRU MY CLOSET AND I HAVE SO MUCH STUFF. I DON'T KNOW IF I WILL EVER BE ABLE TO WEAR IT ALL BEFORE THE GOOD LORD TAKES ME HOME SO GOING FORWARD I WILL TRY AND DO AN OOTD. HERE ARE SOME THINGS THAT I FOUND IN MY CLOSET THAT I PLAN TO WEAR NEXT.
 VINTAGE DRAPE DRESS
 FRUIT SKIRT
 HOT PINK PLEATED SKIRT
 VINTAGE FLORAL AND STRIPES DRESS
ANIMAL PRINT SHEER KAFTAN
VINTAGE SKIRT SUIT
I WILL BE RE-DECORATING MY APARTMENT SO I MAY POST SOME OF THAT PROCESS. ALSO BEEN THINKING ABOUT OPENING A KIAH'S KLOTHES STORE WHERE YOU CAN PURCHASE SOME OF MY THINGS AND I IN TURN WILL USE THE MONIES TO GIVE TO THE NEEDY. WHAT DO YOU THINK?

Your daughter is so cute and she is totally rocking those converses!!!!And I totally know what you mean with not wearing all of your clothes. I have the same issue, But for the vintage that I have worn that I adore I have decided to keep them for posterity because if the Lord has marriage and children (specifically daughters) in His plan for me I want them to have amazing vintage that I have worn and loved that they can have cool old clothes too. Any way you Look so amazing!!!! TOTALLY LOVED your skirt it's amazing!!!! and you know I love<3 skirts! I'm so excited for whats to come for you and opening a web-hsop sounds like it could be a ton of fun.
Take care and have a blessed 4th of July weekend!!!!

My 14 year old has a black cardigan that she'd be wearing right now if it weren't so hot out. I swear if that thing had feet, it'd run away, lol!

I really love the idea of Kiah's Klothes. Since we're not the same size, I wouldn't mind seeing some accessories or shoes you want to 'release' lol!

Kiah, you look fabulous! I absolutely love that skirt especially paired with those gorgeous wedges! :) And that armoire is gorgeous!!! Oh my gosh. You've got some lovely jewelry, and now you can place them in that wonderful organization piece! :)

How cute is your daughter? She's got an awesome sense of style just like her momma! :)

I love the show from your closet. You have some classic pieces there. And you look fabulous today. I totally love your style. Thanks for following my blog. I understand what you mean about the pace of the blogosphere. But after all, we are only human and it's supposed to be fun. Not that I wouldn't want to see more of your genius, but do what feels natural and relaxed would be my advice. As far as selling your clothes, please don't. Learn from my mistakes. Get rid of nothing. Find another way to give from your very generous heart to those that are less fortunate than yourself. I really am so glad that we will be friends. I think you are so cool and your daughter is a lovely and chic little lady. Blessings, darling.

Your daughter is beautiful and I love her style. I know how it is with having too many clothes in the closet. I am trying to solve this as well lol. I always admire your shoes.

I love that black and white outfit on you, it really looks good ... the black and white striped skirt with the black heels has sort of a 40's vintage feel to it.

Love how your daughter is rocking those Chucks. Her earrings are pretty, too. You are both great ladies of style!

I think the idea of the web boutique shop and giving away the money to those in need is a great idea.
