A BEAUTIFUL SONG OF HOPE

In a previous post I told you about my back and sciatic nerve pain. Although it has healed some it is still bringing me pain. Yesterday my husband began having severe chest pain. He thinks it is just a pulled muscle but it scared me. I got to thinking about how fragile we are and how our lives can change in the blink of an eye. One minute we are so strong and independent and the next we are weak and helpless. This morning I went to my You Tube playlist and this beautiful song by one of my favorite Christian artist Jeremy Camp began to play. I have heard this song numerous times before but for some reason today it really touched me. I wanted to share it with you because I know that each of us has been through some sort of pain, hardship, suffering or grief that left us feeling helpless, alone and ready to give up. I want to encourage you to hold on to the HOPE and PROMISE that God brings in Revelation 21:4 - "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away". Then Romans 8:18 says this -"For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us". Below are the lyrics and a You Tube video of the song.

THERE WILL BE A DAY

I try to hold on to this world with everything I have
But I feel the weight of what it brings, and the hurt that tries to grab
The many trials that seem to never end, His word declares this truth,
That we will enter in this rest with wonders anew

But I hold on to this hope and the promise that He brings
That there will be a place with no more suffering

There will be a day with no more tears, no more pain, and no more fears
There will be a day when the burdens of this place, will be no more, we'll see Jesus face to face
But until that day, we'll hold on to you always

I know the journey seems so long
You feel you're walking on your own
But there has never been a step
Where you've walked out all alone

Troubled soul don't lose your heart
Cause joy and peace he brings
And the beauty that's in store
Outweighs the hurt of life's sting

But I hold on to this hope and the promise that He brings
That there will be a place with no more suffering

There will be a day with no more tears, no more pain, and no more fears
There will be a day when the burdens of this place, will be no more, we'll see Jesus face to face
But until that day, we'll hold on to you always

I can't wait until that day where the very one I've lived for always will wipe away the sorrow that I've faced
To touch the scars that rescued me from a life of shame and misery oh this is why this is why I sing

There will be a day with no more tears, no more pain, and no more fears
There will be a day when the burdens of this place, will be no more, we'll see Jesus face to face (repeat 2x)

There will be a day He'll wipe away the tears, he'll wipe away the tears, He'll wipe away the tears

There will be a day

OMWord, I hope that your husband is feeling much better and above all, is okay. Did he at least go to the hospital to check on it? Also, wishing you a smooth recovery from your back pain.

We all are fragile in this world. That's why we have to be grateful each day we wake up. Because a lot of people are not granted that opportunity.

Thank you for the song.
